Terra Discordia

A strange country, broken into three kingdoms, lies trapped in a conflict that is long-lived and due to come to a head. Queen Xelle of the Heartlands is about to die, leaving her young and naive daughter, Lelette, to take the throne. Their allies in the Highlands, the Selebrians, want to send a knight to accompany Lelette as she carries out the burial rites before her coronation, fearing the Menarcans, their enemies to the furthest south, will send someone to kill the princess if she goes alone. The Selebrians and the Menarcans must carry out their war either side of the Heartlands, as Queen Xelle has ensured through a treaty with the Emperor of the Menarcans that neither party cross her kingdom to attack the other. Now a pawn in this deadly game, Lelette must rise above the chaos to become Queen of the Heartlands.
